DIVISIONS
Four divisions make up Norbrook Laboratories Ltd:
Bulk Pharmaceutical Synthesis includes synthetic penicillins, a wide range of antibiotic steroids, hormones and anthelmintics. We are almost self-contained in our raw material production and produce many intermediates for the pharmaceutical industry.
Finished Dose Forum produces sterile injectables for both medical and veterinary use. We have facilities to produce tablets, capsules, aerosols, creams, sterile injections of solutions, suspensions and powders to the standards of Good Manufacturing Practice for export worldwide.
Chemical Process Development has a heavy commitment. We have invested over $150 million (USD) within the last 5 years in the synthesis of complicated molecules.
Research and Development makes up over 10% of our turnover annual investment. We file a number of patents each year and obtain marketing authorizations worldwide to a level that equates with any of our multinational competitors.
